High command to decide on Manoj, Sivaraman membership
Alappuzha: The Congress high command will take a decision on the entry of former MPs Dr K S Manoj and S Sivaraman to Congress. The two had left the CPM earlier. On Thursday, Manoj gave an application to join Congress to KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala in Delhi . He also visited opposition leader Oommen Chandy too, Sivaraman gave the application two months back. Ramesh said that anyone comes to Congress is welcome but as the duo belong to CPM earlier the final decision will be taken by the high command. It is learnt that high command his favorabel to take Manoj. A discussion held by Oomen Chandy and Chennithala with Mohsina Kidwai points out the same. It is also learnt that high command is of the opinion that KPCC can take ad decision in this regard. Manoj said that he gave application after having discussion with AK Antony, Vayalar Ravi and Oommen Chandy. Manoj is now working as doctor in St Stephens Hospital in Delhi.
