Bangalore blast: Madani included in accused list
Bangalore: The Karnataka police special investigation team investigating Bangalore serial blasts, 2008 has included PDP Chair man Abdul Naser Madani in the accused list submitted on Friday to Bangalore Chief Metropolitan Magistrate .Madani's wife Soofiya is not included in the accused list . It is learnt that the charge against Madani is that, though he had information on the proposed attack, he unrevealed the same. Investigation team also obtained information that the prime accused in the blast case Lashkar activist Thadiyantevida Naseer, Sarfras Navas and Shamsudhin had links with Madani. The crime report including seven more accused in the list was submitted on Friday evening. Bangalore city police commissioner Shankar Badri said that more information on the case cannot be disclosed at this time. A total of nine cases were registered related to the blast cases in 2008 July 25, in which two people were killed and several injured.
Two crime reports on two cases were submitted earlier and among the 26 accused in the report, majority are Malayalees. The new list of accused was submitted based on the statements by Naseer.
