Renovated cargo complex to function from Saturday
Karipur: Industries minister Elamaram Kareem will inaugurate the renovated cargo complex at the Kozhikode international airport on Saturday. The new building, adjacent to the existing cargo complex, was constructed under the Kerala State Industrial Entrepreneurship programme with a cost of Rs 1.55 crore. The public sector undertaking SILK had undertaken the construction. The building, covering 25,000 square feet, would have access from both the airport road and cargo complex. The building includes cold storages, freezer units, conference hall with seating capacity for 100, restaurant, banks, ATM counters, office of airport agencies. The Indian coffee house will set up a restaurant there.
