Thiruvananthapuram: Chief minister V S Achuthanandan said that the government will file an appeal against the order issued by Kerala High Court banning public meeting in road sides. The statute book says that verdict must be issued after hearing the sides of all parties. But without giving an opportunity for the government and political parties that HC issued such an order.
The government has all respect for judiciary. There must be stands from the court which will help to sustain that respect. There can be reactions on the verdict and he think that only such reactions were came from the leaders. If anything beyond that , the court will examine the same. The verdict is difficult to implement and the leaders reacted as it will produce long term effects. He said stand of the government is that, to give a joint appeal by government and opposition.
