Edamalayer: State seeks extension of final hearing
Edamalayar: The state government has filed a petition in the Supreme Court to extend the final hearing in the Edamalayar case. The Kerala Government has sought an extension of five months inorder to have the documents translated in English.
Chief Minister VS Achuthanandan had moved the Supreme Court against an HC order acquitting former Power Minister R Balakrishna Pillai in the Edamalayar case. The final hearing had been postponed several times.
