SFI attack in Archana college: SP to conduct probe

Thiruvananthapuram: Home minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan informed the assembly that Alappuzha SP will conduct a probe in the attack by SFI activists in Alappuzha Archana College. He was replying to a submission by K K Shaju MLA. He said two persons have been arrested in connection with the case. The college management had informed that a loss of Rs 11 lakh had occurred in yesterday's attack, he added. The SFI march, which was organized against placing of hidden cameras and alleging overcharging of fees, on Monday turned violent. The cameras that had been placed on the corridor, classrooms and labs along with the computer in the Principal's room had been destroyed in the attack.
