    Three-day programmes to keep alive actor Murali's memory

    Kozhikode: To keep alive memories of late actor Murali, who passed away on last August 6, the Bharat Murali Commemmorative
    Forum along with Kozhikode Corporation, will organise a wide range of cultural programmes from August 6 to 8 here. The highlight of the programmes organised as part of his death anniversary observance, will be a film festival,in which eight films
    acted by Murali will be shown, a release from K J Thomas, General Convener of the Organising Commitee, said.

    Among the other films likely to be shown are 'Amaram', 'Aadharam', 'Chambakkulam thachan' and 'Kanakkinavu'.

    A photo exhibition, seminar and release of a book titled 'Holy Actor', on the late actor's career, are also planned, it said.

    An elaborate organising committee with Kozhikode Mayor M Bhaskaran as Chairman, has been formed, the release said. PTI
