40,000 fake doctors in the state:IMA
Kozhikode: IMA stated that as many as 40,000 doctors are practicing in various parts of the state with fake certificates. The list of such doctors would be handed over to the state government within two months, said AK Abdul Khader chairman of IMA committee appointed to find out fake doctors. The information collected though various branches of IMA will be handed over. Abdul Khader said that existing laws are not sufficient to curb the menace as now the police registers case only on charges of impersonation.
