Jewels of kids, who drowned in Pampa, stolen

Alapuzha: The jewelleries of the two kids who died on Sunday after their car plunged into the Pampa river were found stolen from their house. Dona and Darsana died in a road mishap when the new car driven by their father David plunged into the Pampa river. The accident occurred when the car lost control and fell into the river in the morning. The jewelleries were stolen from the house in which the family of David was staying for rent in Neerettupuram. Chains of Dona, Darsana and their mother were lost. Police said the culprits gained entry after breaking the front door. The shelf and cup boards were found open. David, father of Darshana and Dona, studying at TMT School in the VIII and II standard, was riding the car to the church when the incident happened. Fire force and police personnel reached the spot and recovered the bodies of the two children from the river. In shock, David consumed poison and wife Maymol fell unconscious. Both were admitted to the hospital. Their relatives were in the house. When they went out the incident happened. Police and the dog squad have begun a probe.
