New Delhi: Karnataka informed the Supreme Court that the proposal put forward by Kerala as to allow the nigh traffic through Bandhipur national park in Wayanad Mysore National Highway, was impracticable . It also rejected Kerala's proposal for allowing vehicular traffic on the convoy basis in the route.
It was on Saturday that Karnataka filed reply to the Kerala plea and asked the SC to reject Kerala's plea in the case. The Supreme Court was considering Kerala's plea that was submitted against the Karnataka's decision to block night traffic on the Kozhikode- Kollegal road on NH 212 and the Ootty- Mysore Road on NH 67(through the Bandipur Tiger Reserve). While hearing the plea SC had asked both the States to suggest another alternative, earlier.
