Nine flights diverted due to bad weather in Karippur

Kondotty:Nine flights were diverted from Karippur airport due to bad weather on Thursday. One flight was not able to take off form the run way too. Indian airlines Dubai, Air Indian express flights from Salala, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Dubai, Jeddah, Oman Air from Muscat and Emirates airways Dubai flights were diverted. Emirates flight was diverted to Thiruvananthapuram and others to Nedumbassery

Flights from 6.30 am to 8 am were diverted . Except the Abu Dhabi flight, the others retuned after hours to Karippur which also affected their return journey.
