Thiruvananthapuram: IT major UST Global is to open the first phase of its new campus at a 40-acre site near Technopark here
by thethird quarter of next year. The facility was designed to accommodate 7500 employers in its intial phase, which would be followed by second and third phases with the total capacity going upto 35,000 professionals in the next five years, the company president Joe Nalkara told a press meet here today. Headquarted in Aliso Viejo, California, the compnay had been providing IT services to a variety of clientle including those in health care, retain and consumer goods, utilities, enmtertainment and media, banking and financial services.
The company has entered into a tie up with Cisco, which would be providing smart and connected realestate solutions to its upcoming campus.
A leading provider of services and solutions, Cisco would be making solutions to make the campus a single-connection building management and IT systems, said GB Kumar, MD, Asia Pacific Enterprises Practices of Cisco. The IP-based network to be designed by Cisco enable the campus management to reduce costs on energy and real estate management.PTI
