Thiruvananthapuram: The nine-day long Ganeshotsav with special poojs to around 1200 Ganesh Idols put up in different
parts of the city would come to an end with the immersion of these idols in Sankumugam beach on September 18. Along with Ganesh idols, different art forms of Kerala would become part of the immersion procession that would be start from Pazavangadi Ganesh temple, Ganeshotsav Trust Chairman S Kumar told reporters here today.
State Devaswom Minister Kadanapali Ramachandran would inaugurate the programme.
Ganeshotsav is jointly organised by state unit of Shiva Sena and Ganeshotsav Trust for the past ten years. PTI
