Kozhikode: Noting that the civic polls in the state will see the end of United Democratic Front (UDF), C N Chandran, Assistant Secretary, CPI Kerala unit, said that Left Democratic Front (LDF) will achieve impressive win in the election.
Speaking at the meet-the-leader programme of Calicut Press Club here today, Chandran alleged that UDF had opportunistic
alliances with all those who are against the LDF.
The four-and-a-half years successful rule of LDF government in the state will benefit the front, he said, adding the state had witnessed allround development under LDF.
Alleging that the UDF has unholy alliance with the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), the rechristained political
wing of NDF, Chandran said UDF was faced with problems.
Replying to a query on the quitting of some leaders from the LDF, Chandran said it will not affect the prospects of ldf
in the civic polls.
PDP's presence was not seen in the election, he replied to a query from a scribe. PTI
