The seminar would provide an opportunity for police departments from various countries to share their experiences
about community policing, Kerala Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan told reporters here today.
The history of community policing, divning a period of hundred years, would be discussed at the seminar, which would
help Kerala police acquire more information in the area, the minister said.
Officials would be coming from countries including USA, UK, Australia, South Africa, Sweden, Vietnam, Afghanistan,
Kosovo, Jordan, Serbia, Poland, Lebanon, Oman and UAE to attend the seminar, he said.
Union Home Minister P Chidambaram would inaugurate the seminar on November 3. The concluding function on November 4
