Kozhikode:The Ninth 'Animation Day' organised by the Association of International Du Film 'Animation (ASIFA), will be held here on November 8.
Speaking to mediapersons here today, Philip Thomas of the Organising Committee, said ASIFA is a professional body,
recognised by UNESCO, devoted to developing film animation both as an art and also as an effective means of
communication.
ASIFA enjoys a representation from over 55 countries and the basic aim of ASIFA is community building for all animation
enthusiasts, he said.
Last year, Animation day was observed in 12 towns in India and this was the third time Kozhikode will be observing
animation day, he said. PTI
