Children's day stamp design: Shana Jasmine wins prize

Thiruvananathapuram: Shana Jasmine from Kozhikode won the competition for stamp design which would be issued by Children's welfare committee on Children's day celebrations. Shana is a sixth standared student at the GMLP School Elettil, Poolappoyil. Shana's design was selected from among 800 pictures from various schools in the district. Shana is the daughter of Ottilapoyil Koya, a teacher from her school, and Eravanoor AUP school teacher Saifunnisa. Shana would be presented with gifts on November 14 at the Children's day stamp releasing ceremony.
