Winter schedule at Karipur airport comes into force

Karipur: The winter timings of flights from Karipur airport came into force. Various companies have issued the time schedule after changing timings of flight and cutting down the number of services. Air India and Indian Airlines only made minor changes in the existing schedule. The main change is the withdrawal of the Kozhikode-Chennai service of Indian Airlines and Kozhikode-Mangalore-Delhi service by the Air India Express. The Ras Al Khaimah - Kozhikode services by Rak Airways in the mornings have been shifted to night. Air India flight which reaches Kozhikode by 7.30 am from Jeddah would now reach Kozhikode at 6.25 am and will travel to Kochi by 7.55 am as per the new schedule. The flight which used to come from Abu Dhabi at 6.10 am and return at 9.25 in the nights would now reach Kozhikode at 5.55 am and return to Sharjah at 7.20 pm. Oman Air flight which used to reach Kozhikode at 2.20 pm from Muscat and return at 3.20 pm, would reach at 12.50 pm and return at 1.40pm.

Air India flight from Riyadh which reaches Kozhikode at 5.30 pm would reach at 4.20 pm from now onwards and travel to Kochi at 5.30 pm. Air Arabia flight for Sharjah-Kozhikode, instead of the pervious schedule of 3.35 am, would reach at 3.15 am and return at 3.55 am. Qatar Air flight which reaches Kozhikode at 8.30 am would now reach at 9 am and return at 10 am.

Ethihad Airways made changes in time as well as in their schedules. The airways which used to conduct service on Tuesday, Sunday and Thursday would now fly on Friday, Wednesday and Sunday. Flights to Abu Dhabi which reaches at 4 am and returned at 5 am would now reach at 3.25 am and return at 4.10 am. Saudi airlines flight which used to reach Kozhikode through Jeddah-Damam would reach here through Jeddah-Riyadh. Jeddah-Riyadh service on Sunday would be through Jeddah-Damam.
