Escapes from death but later falls prey to it

Parassala: A person who miraculously escaped from a car accident was later killed by electrocution at the same spot. The deceased is Ilamkol, 40, from Sucheendram, Tamil Nadu, who fell to the jaws of death. The incident occurred at Inchivila on Monday early morning. Ilamkol was on his way to Thiruvananthapuram from Sucheendram. His car, which lost control, hit an electric post and he escaped miraculously even though the electric post fell over his car. He later hired an auto and informed the matter in KSEB office.

Returning to the spot to take his belongings from the car, he was electrocuted from the electric wire while trying to open the door. Though he was rushed to the Karakkonam Medical College, his life could not be saved. His wife is Reena and children Rithin and Riyal.
