Thiruvananthapuram : Kerala cabinet today gave approval for setting up natural gas based power project at Cheemeni in Kasargode district, State Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan said here.
The approval was given to Kerala State Eelectricity Board, Achuthanandan told reporters after a cabinet meeting.
The capacity of the project, a proposal of Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC) would be
implemented by identifying a development, a KSIDC official said.
The official said detials on the project was yet to be worked out.The original proposal was to set up a 1000 mw plant, the
