    Teacher alleged to have involved in job scam found dead

    Mananthavadi: A painting teacher, who is alleged to have obtained a job by producing forged certificate for disability, consumed poison and died on Tuesday. The teacher has been identified as V J Baby, 48, working at the Mananthavadi Arattuthara Govt Higher Secondary School. Baby was found unconsious after consuming poison when the medical board was examining the certificates of those who have alleged to have obtained jobs with forged certificates. Though he was rushed to the emergency department, his life could not be saved. His wife is Beena and children A****h and Ajith.

    Earlier, the District Handicapped Association published the list of 20 people who had obtained jobs fraudulently. The association member had also submitted the list to the assembly commitee which had visited the place to verify the development and progress of the handicapped the other day. The committee, which found the complaint valid, directed the police and DMO to enquire about the matter. The people in the list were asked to be present before the medical board at district hospital.
