    Eight Ayyappa devotees killed in accident

    Salem : Eight Ayyappa devotees were killed and two persons, including a 12-year-old boy, injured when the car in which they were travelling rammed into a stationary lorry
    near here today. The victims, all members of one family, were returning to Kuppum in Andhra Pradesh after having darshan at the Lord Ayyappa temple at Sabarimala in Kerala when it hit the cotton-laden lorry parked on the roadside at 0400 hours, police said

    The injured were admitted to hospital.PTI
