Thrissur: Defense minister A K Antony said that though no formal complaints have been received so far against former CJI K G Balakrishnan, a truth must be unveiled on allegations against the former CJI. He was speaking to media persons at Ramanilayam.
He said he only knows about media reports on the issue but he said is not ruling out the media reports. Strict action would be taken against those who committed corruption. AK Antony, as a reply to the question on re-entry of Muralidharan, said that the protests over the re-entry of Murali has been declining. But he said his statement is not final word in this matter. He said denial of JPC probe on spectrum corruption is not related to any adamant decision. The probe is being progressing on total five levels including Public Accounts Committee, CBI probe under the scrutiny of the Supreme Court, probe by one member panel by retired SC judge, probe by parliamentary standing committee and income tax department. Antony who reached Muralimandhiram from Ramanilayam spoke with Muralidharan and Padmaja.
