Thiruvananthapuram:Kerapa-based charitable trust Sree Narayana Golabal Pravasi Coucil has drawn up a
plan to build old age resorts in different parts of the state for aged parents of Keralites working in foreign countries. The resorts would be located in rural settings with all facilities for boardin, food and medical attention of the
inmates, SNGPC Chairman Akkamvila Salim said in a release today.
They would be designed in such a way to offer domestic ambience to the inmates providing healthy and high quality
food, spiritual solace, frequet picinics and a total community feeling, the release said.
SNGPC has been registered as a trust to popularise the message of universal love and brotherhood preached by 20th
century saint-reformer Sree Narayana Guru and take up social and cultural activities.
The welfare of Non-resident Keralites and their dependents was a priority area of the trust, Salim said.PTI
