Kottayam:Kozhikode district led the tally with 393 points overtaking Thrissur on the third day of the 51st Kerala State School Arts Festival under way here on Thursday.
Thrissur is in the second position with 385 points and Kannur in the third position with 366 points. Thiruvananthapuram in the seventh position with 321 points.

savam got off to a colorful start at the main venue of Police Parade Grounds in the district with public education director A P M Mohammed Haneesh hoisting the fest flag at 8 am this morning. The fest was declared open by Education Minister M A Baby.
It is after a gap of 14 years, a school youth fest is being held here. The arrival of participating teams began yesterday itself. As many as 10,000 contestants will be participating in the festival organized at 17 venues.
