False allegations becoming social nuisance: Justice Kurup

Kochi: Justice K Narayana Kurup stated that false allegations by a person like Rauf seems to be crossing the limits and become a social nuisance. The whole drama harms the credibility of the judiciary. He said the HC itself can take up the case. On Tuesday Rauf said that Kurup's son-in-law Joseph Sunny had accepted bribe on behalf of Kurup. Rauf said he himself is the prime witness. Sunny and his wife stay with Kurup. Sunny said he does not know Rauf and had not accepted money. He said no one met him in relation to the case.

Justice Kurup has a lot of friends from advocates to socil activists. As an advocate he knows KC Peter and nothing more. May be the rivals of Kunhalikutty are playing the game, Sunny said.
