LDF Govt a total failure: UDF
Kozhikode:UDF Kozhikode District Chairman,
P K K Bava, today alleged that the CPI(M)-led Left Democratic
Front (LDF) Government had totally failed in implementing
development activities in the state during its rule.
Speaking to mediapersons here, Bava alleged that the
government which had come to power by giving lots of promises
to the people, had failed in fulfilling it and betrayed the
people.
There is no security for life and property of the people,
he said, adding that the government was drowned in
'corruption'.
The 'Kerala Mochana Yatra'ledby Opposition leader Oommen
chandy, will tour Kozhikode district on February 6 and 7 with
the slogan 'peaceful Kerala', 'comprehensive development' and
'corruption-free rule', he said.
The yatra which should have toured the district on
January 15 and 16, was postponed due to the tragedy at
Pullumedu in Sabarimala, in which 102 people had lost their
lives in a stampede.
IUML leader P K Kunhalikutty will certainly participate
in the yatra, he said, adding another IUML leader Dr M K Munir
will also attend.
CPIM(M) was worried over their losing popularity among
the people and that was the reason for raking up issues which
had been settled long back, he said. PTI
