UDF to boycott Speaker's dinner

Kottayam : Congress Legislature Party Chief Whip Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan today said the UDF will boycott the dinner arranged by the Speaker on March 3. Addressing a news conference here, he said the UDF had demanded removal of the Chief Minister's speech that was made after the Speaker announced the decision to adjourn the House from the records. But it was not removed yet, he claimed and said in protest against the Speaker's attitude it had been decided to boycott the dinner arranged by the Speaker and also the photo session.

He appealed to the Speaker to make his stance clear on the demand.
