Pro-VS marches in many parts of the state

Thiruvananthapuram: Marches were held in different parts of the State in support of V.S. Achuthanandan to protest against the decision of the party state secretariat to deny Assembly seat to V.S. Achuthanandan. Majority of the participants were youth. The marches began in the party villages of Kasargod within minutes of announcing the decision.The first march took place in Neeleswaram followed by Madikkai, Kanhangad, Kodekkad, Vengappara, Peelikkodu etc. Marches were also held in Peringom in Kannur, Kadavoor, Kazhuthurutti in Kollam, Thakazhi, Mararikulam, Kanjikkuzhy and other parts of Alappuzha, Ulliyeri, Kuttiyadi and Changarankulam in Kozhikode, Varod, Panamanna and Ottappalam in Palakkad and Thiruvali in Malappuram. Slogans like `party leadership which was addicted to the comforts of AC rooms has no qualms to throw away the Marxist philosophy' ruled the air.
