The Indian Journalists Union (IJU) has decided to suspend Kerala Journalists Union president G. Prabhakaran for his “anti-union and self-seeking activities.” IJU secretary-general K. Srinivas Reddy said in a press release that Mr. Prabhakaran failed to respond to the show cause issued to him in line with a decision taken by the national executive at its meeting in New Delhi on March 5 and 6. The notice was issued against his disruptive actions, which were prejudicial to the interests of the union, the release said
