Gold merchant's body found on tracks
Parapanangadi: The body of a gold merchant who had gone to Gujarat for business purpose along with his friends, was found on a railway track. The dead body of Josemani, 51, son of Palyekkara Devassi from Chiyyaram, Ollur was found on the railway line near Parappanangadi railway station. Jose, who is a wholesale dealer of gold, is the state general secretary of the Jewellery Manufactures Association.Jose started his journey with two friends from Thrissur. The journey was in the AC compartment. When the train reached Goa on Thursday morning, his friends found him missing. They said they went to sleep immediately after getting into the train. The duo then alighted at Goa and informed others about their colleagues absence. His body was located near the Parappanangadi station.
