Student's death in Mulamthuruthy: Four cops suspended

Mulamthuruthy: Four policemen were suspended and the driver held in connection with the death of two school students after an overspeeding car fatally knocked them down at Mulamthuruthy, near Vettikal, on Thursday. Though the car did not stop after the accident, it was identified later.The dead were cousins Amal (13) and Sreejith (14), students of St. Mary's Higher Secondary School. Meanwhile, the four cops have been suspended from service and a case registered on charges of homicide. The policemen Saji, Vijayan, Sojan and Stanley belonged to Piravom police station and are absconding.
