Thiruvananthapuram : State employees would not be getting their revised pay this month as the proceedings regarding the pay fixation has not been completed.Earlier, finance minister announced that the employees would get revised pay from April. But due to Easter and Vishu the salary for the month was given in advance taking into account the old structure.
Finance department officials explained that the delay in getting the fixation statement of the revised pay order after getting recognition from the accounts general is the main cause of delay.
The revised pay order was submitted to AG. After approving the AG's directions, the amended order was also submitted to the AG. AG has to approve it and hand over the same to the finance department principal secretary. On the basis of the same circular concerning the finance department fixation, it must be given to all treasury directors and various departmental heads.
The Finance department is expecting the order from AG soon.
