Bangalore: A Malayalee woman, who was pillion riding with her husband in a bike, was killed after a lorry hit their bike. The deceased is Radha Vasudevan, 42, wife of O K Vasudevan, from Palakakd. She is working as treasurer of Mathrubhumi Grihalakshmi vedi in Bangalore. The incident occurred Monday evening near Dasarahalli. She died on the spot when a lorry ran over her after hitting the bike. Vasudevan is working in a private company. The lorry driver has been held.
Ten years back her daughter Anju too was killed in an accident when returning from Guruvayoor. Radha who was injured severely in that accident was under treatment for many years.
Radha is the daughter of Narayanan Nambiar from Kootanadu, Palakkad. She was an active member of Grihalakshmi vedi. Ajayan is her son.
