Union Law Minister M. Veerappa Moily on Sunday said that the Law Ministry had received the Bill on revision of salaries for journalists and other newspaper employees as recommended by the Wage Boards from the Labour Ministry.
Speaking to journalists here, Mr. Moily said that the Ministry would look into the Bill and subsequently place it at the Cabinet meeting.
He said unnecessary discussions on the drafting of the Lokpal Bill would lead to controversies. He would therefore not discuss on the matter. He also said that decision taken by the Joint Committee would be final and all aspects relating to the drafting of the Lokpal Bill would be discussed at the meeting.
