No evidence has yet surfaced in CBI chargesheets in 2G spectrum scam case against Sadhick Batcha, a close aide of former Telecom Minister A Raja, who died under mysterious circumstances last month.
CBI had extensively questioned Batcha, Director of Chennai-based Green House Promotor Pvt Ltd, four times between December, 2010 and March, 2011 and suspected him as a vital link in the money trail.
However, in the supplementary chargesheet filed on Monday, the agency only said how Rs 1.25 crore travelled to Batcha's firm through Shahid Balwa's subsidiary firm.
The agency had conducted searches at his official and residential premises.
CBI said Batcha and his wife Reha Banu were among the founding directors of Greenhouse Promoters Pvt Ltd, whose board members also included Raja's wife M A Parameshwari, his brother A Kaliya Perumal and nephews Ramachandran Ramaganesh and R P Paramesh Kumar.
