NEW DELHI: A 10-year-old child was allegedly mowed down by an unidentified vehicle on Saturday afternoon in Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg in central Delhi. The deceased has been identified as Hrithik, a Class IV student of Adarsh Primary School and a resident of D Block near the fire station in Connaught Place, police said. "He was declared brought dead at the hospital. We have registered a case of causing death due to negligence against the unidentified errant driver," said a senior police officer. Hrithik's father is a safai karamchari at the fire station, said the police.
