Kozhikodde : The pro-Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) Service Pensioners League in Kerala today urged government to pay pension arrears in one instalment instead of four to pensioners in the State. In a resolution adopted at its recent state committee meet, the SPL also urged the government to revise medical insurance scheme suitably, said a release here today. At present, the government had announced a meagre Rs 300 a month, which the organisation said would not suffice to meet medical expenditure for a day. General Secretary Azad Vandoor presented report at the meet presided over by SPL State President Nanakkal Mohammed, the release added. --UNI
