Milk price hike: Milma to approach court
Thiruvananthapuram: Milma Federation is approaching the court against the state government stand, which blocked the move to raise milk prices. On Monday, the cooperative dairy registrar stayed the move of Milma to raise prices. Milma would file a petition in the Kerala High Court questioning the same.Prior permission of the state government is needed for raising milk prices. But Milma decided to hike the price without such permission. Milma chairman PT Gopalakurup said that Milma wouldn't be able to move further without raising the prices. He said for removing the stay Milma would approach the HC.
