Activities have started all of a sudden in the State Congress with the change in guard of the State leadership. Party’s State headquarters that used to wore deserted looks for long have become happening with party workers activities and programmes. Now to wake up the party workers at district levels the Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) is organising district and divisional level congregations.
On the instructions of MPCC president and Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Kantilal Bhuria a similar district conclave would be held at Damoh on May 25 and the divisional congregation would held at Shahdol on May 31.
The district conclave would be held at Tendukheda in Damoh district while the divisional congregation would held at Shahdol, which would be followed by a rally. Congress workers from Umariya, Shahdol and Anuppur would participate in this programme to be held on May 31.
MPCC president Kantilal Bhuria, Leader of Opposition in the State Assembly Ajay Singh, Deputy Speaker of the State Assembly Harvansh Singh, parliamentarians and legislators of the Congress party from the area would also participate in the congregation.
Bhuria has appointed observers for both the programmes. MP Rajesh Nandini Singh and MPCC vice-president Bisahulal Singh have been made in-charge for the divisional level Shahdol Conclave while former minister Rajmani Patel and MPCC secretary and legislator Sanjay Pathak have been named as coordinators of the programme.
Former legislator Premnarayan Mishra and former Minister Prabhu Singh Thakur have been named as in-charge for the district level conclave to be held at Tendukheda in Damoh district on May 25.
