    Yoga classes in schools to keep students fit

    Chef Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that with a view to maintaining the mental and physical health of school students, Yoga practice will be taught to them. Gradually the system will be introduced in all schools of the State. He was addressing the Yog Vigyan Shivir organised in the presence of Swamy Ramdev this morning at the Police Ground in Betul.

    Chouhan said that the state government has implemented Public Services Provider Act for making available to the people corruption-free government services. There is provision in the Act to impose fine on the officer if he fails to provide the service within time limit. He said that to bring about improvement in the Government system, e-tendering and e-payment system is also being implemented in the state to minimise the possibilities of corruption. The Chief Minister said that a proposal has also been sent to the Central Government for setting up of special courts to deal with the cases of corruption.

    Chouhan said that he will support any move against corruption, On this occasion Swami Ramdev lauded the Public Services Provider Guarantee Act. He said that the state government is working in the interests of the poor with sensible approach. Swami Ramdev taught yoga practices to Shivraj Singh Chouhan, his wife Sadhna Singh and the people present there.

    Chouhan, on this occasion, presented memento to Swami Ramdev on behalf of Betul district. Organising committee of the function also presented a memento to the Chief Minister. Member of Parliament Jyoti Dhurve, District Panchayat President Lata Raju Mahaski, MLAs Alkesh Arya and Gita Ramjilal Uikey, former MP Hemant Khandelwal, District Collector, several peoples representatives and others were present.
