In a drive to collect the property and water tax, Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) organised a special camp in Ward 10 and Ward 11 of the corporation here on Sunday.
The special camp collected about Rs 2.7 lakh from the defaulters on a holiday. Along with tax collection new water connections and licence fee were collected amounting to Rs 54,580 in all from Ward no 11.
Zonal officers Kailash Maina along with his junior officers were on duty during the special drive.
