Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Tourism Minister A P Anil Kumar said the government would prepare an action plan to attract foreign tourists to make Kerala a primary tourist destination on the world tourism map.Talking to newspersons after taking charge of his office at the State Secretariat here, he said the government would take some important decisions in this regard soon.
On creating more employment opportunities to backward sections in the society, he said the private sector could also play a major role in creating more employment to educated people from the backward sections.
''The government could also help the people from the backward communities to equip themselves to utilise the opportunities in the private sector,'' he added.
The government would provide more educational and financial aid to backward communities for which a policy would be declared at the department level, he said.
