Kozhikode: The national award winning film Adaminte Makan Abu would hit the theaters on June 17, said director Salim Ahmed. He would be distributing the film himself. He was speaking at a reception offered to him by the Malabar Airlines and Agents Club (MAAC)
He said Ahsraf Bedi filed a petition against the film releasing owing to some misunderstanding. While submitting films for award, the name of only one producer would be given. That is why his name was excluded. He said Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar wished to remake the film in Hindi. No one had asked for their remuneration for acting in this film but at the same time no one acted without remuneration too, he said.
