Thrissur: On the first day of the trial on Sowmya's death case, all witnesess who were present in the court on Monday gave statements against the main accused Govindaswami. The doctor Thanuja, gyneacologist, who examined Sowmya at Thrissur medical college had confirmed rape. But the advocates who appeared for the accused claimed that there was no evidances to prove rape. The injuries happened when she fell from the train. Later, two persons who were in the same train in which Soumya travelled, were heard. The hearing of Santhosh, a fellow traveller, was also completed on Monday and another co-traveller Rejula would be heard on Wednesday.
Both of them stated that they saw Govindaswami in the train.
