Singer KR Venu passes away

Kozhikode: Noted singer KR Venu passed away due to stomach related diseases at MIMS hospital here on Saturday night. Venu was active in music world for the last 5 years and was once palpable presence in the cinema filed, Hindustani music and Mapila songs.He had sung in films like ladies hostel, Manasu, Chuzhi. He also worked with noted orchestra huttans. He is the son of Ramsay from Patna and Laskmi from Thiruvanoor.Wife is Rukmini and children are Manjula, Manoj, Maneesh and Manjusha.
