Kannur : Kerala Directorate of National Cadet Corps (NCC) is planning to construct three NCC academies in different parts of the state for training and other activities, Deputy Director General (DDG) NCC Brigadier Sandeep Kumar said today.Talking to newspersons here, he said out of three academics, one academy will be set up in Wynad district, the other two academies were likely to be in the central and southern parts of the state.
He confirmed that three acres of land has already been acquired by NCC in Payyanur in Kannur district, which will be converted into a permanent camping ground for the cadets.
DDG Brigadier Sandeep Kumar, VSM, visited 31 kerala battalion NCC today.
