Latest News from India - Happy Rajesh murder: Two more held

Kollam: Two more persons were held in the murder of Happy Rajesh, the prime accused in Mathrubhumi reporter Unnithan attack case. Sooryadas, 23, from Kollam and Rony, 25, from Pattathanam were held from a boat jetty near KSRTC stand in Kollam, said crime branch SP Sam Christy Daniel. Earlier, crime branch held Vettukuttan, Penty and Krishnakumar. Penty and Vettukuttan stated that personal grudge against Rajesh led to his killing.According to crime branch, someone torched Penty's car on January 20. Penty and Kuttan questioned some suspected persons behind this. On April 24, when Jinda Ani met Penty he said Rajesh would be behind the incident. Penty and Kuttan, along with helpers Roni, Surya and Krishnakumar, called Rajesh to a place called `Johnny dale' on April 27 and beat him up severely. When the accused found that Rajesh was dead, they abandoned him in his auto.
