Kottayam: Union Civil Aviation Minister Vayalar Ravi was admitted to a private nursing home at Changanacherry here last night following a knee injury.The Minister sustained the injury after he slipped and fell while attending a function of a Congress leader's son at Kottayam last evening.
Initially, he did not take it seriously but when he went to attend another function at Changanacherry, he noticed swelling on his knee.
He was taken to a hospital where a team of doctors attended on him.
He is recovering and will be discharged from the hospital today, hospital sources said.
