Thiruvananthapuram: As many as 26 patients tested postive and a girl died due to dreaded H1N1 in the past four days in Kerala.About 1576 patients were put under Home Quarantine, 116 under Hospital Quarantine and 15 patients in ICU . Throat swabs of 179 patients were sent for lab test, official sources said.
Ms Milka S Thampi of Punaloor in Kollam, who was admitted in Medical College here with the history of Septic Shock, Aspiration Pneumonia, ARDS and Hypothyroidism, died due to H1N1 on Wednesday.
Fourteen positive cases were reported from Thiruvananthapuram, four from Kollam, two each from Kottayam and Tiruchur, one each from Ernakulam, Kozhikode, Kannur and Pathanamthitta.
